Wyland has invited Guy Harvey to paint with him a 1000-foot mural on the new Wyland Walk, located at 7399 West McNabb Road (just east of Rock Island Road) in North Ft. Lauderdale. The mural is an official International Year of the Reef event. Wyland began painting on Friday, June 6th and will continue to paint each day through Friday, June 13th. On Saturday, June 14th at 12 noon, there will be an official dedication ceremony at the wall site.
For Guy Harvey fans…Guy will be painting Thursday, June 12th in the morning through the afternoon and Friday, June 13th all day. If you have a chance to watch Guy and Wyland in action, I personally recommend attending the event. I have had 3 different opportunities to watch the two artists paint walls together - Key West, Florida - Marathon, Florida and Key Largo, Florida and it is an amazing site to see.
